Earth, wind, sun and…the sea, the great ruler waiting out there.
Among olive trees and vineyards four colours escaped from nature’s paint-wash: grape red, olive green, mimosa yellow and sky blue. These colours are awaiting for you in our four lodgings of our "Contado".
They could easily be discovered… let the journey begins...

We follow the rhythm of the nature harvesting the fruits of the Earth.
In the "Contado" you will taste our fresh vegetables which are the ideal companion of fish dishes that you could cook on the barbecue at your disposal.

If you feel like fishing Winsome, a 28 footer cutter, is waiting for you in Porto Maurizio harbour ready to sail. But if you don’t like fishing you could wait for the fishermen sailing home and buy what they have just brought back.
Imperia: it was born in 1923 joining two small towns: Oneglia and Porto Maurizio. It is located on the western Riviera of Liguria, 20 km away from Sanremo, 40km from the French Riviera and 110 km from Genoa.
Thanks to the sea in front of it and the Maritime Alps surrounding it there is a mild climate all over the year with moderately hot summers and long warm springs and autumns. It is the reason why the first the first important professional cycling events are held in this region.
The beauty of Porto Maurizio, reflecting itself on the sea, with a friendly hinterland rich in picturesque villages surrounded by a surprising wilderness, couldn’t be easily matched by other places in the region.
"Il Contado", situated on the top of a hill facing Porto Maurizio old city, is the ideal "trait-d’union" between the mountains and the sea. Nevertheless, its position and its quietness are not an obstacle for an easy access to the beaches. You’ll need 5 minutes by car or 20 minutes on foot, while the motorway access is 5 minutes away.
It is also possible to visit the countryside starting directly from "il Contado" but if you are hesitating between having a bath in the gulf or taking a dip into the freshness of the tiny lakes hidden into the hills, you might finally choose to lazily spend the day on a hammock awaiting for a moonlight supper.
